| This update is quite over due. I have been working at a local landscaping company since the end of August. I worked about 72 hours last week. We had a big job that needed to be done. So far I have worked in garden maintenance, masonry, and landscape.
Tomorrow, I leave for Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am going to be working on a student project for Bobby Jindal who is running for Governor (www.bobbyjindal.com). The first week I will be going door to door. The second week, I will be working on a student project. Your prayers would be appreciated.

| FYI, I am going to Africa. I am leaving tomorrow to go to Uganda on a missions trip. There will be about 20 people going from our church. We will be doing evangelism, mercy ministry, vacation Bible school, and much more. Hopefully, we will also be able to be an encouragement to the believers and full time missionaries who are in Uganda. Please pray:
- Team unity - Health from infectious diseases - Safe travels - Humility to share the love of Christ
Thank you for your prayers, and I will update when I get back.

| So, June has been a pretty busy month. Here is what has happened:
May 30-June 4 -- National Convention in Winder, GA. The theme of the conference was igniting a chain reaction. We learned about compassion, vision, and perseverance. We also had a day that was focused on prayer and fasting. During the elections, I was elected Senator. It was great.
June 8,9 -- TEACH Convention. This is our annual homeschool convention. On Friday evening my sister, Ruth, graduated from high school. Several other friends graduated as well. During the convention, I got to sit in on some sessions that were taught by RC Sproul Jr. He is a great teacher. He really tells it like it is.
June 11-20 -- Paul Broun Campaign. Dr. Broun is running for Congress in Georgia's 10th district. I went down to work on the campaign. I got to attend three candidate forums with Dr. Broun. Then we had about a week long student project. We did sign waving, phone calling, and door to door knocking. We got second on the primary by 187 votes. Because of this, there will be a runoff election on July 17th with the top two candidates.
Rest of the month -- I have been enjoying time at home. I have been doing some running and weight lifting. I have also been doing quite a bit of reading. In addition, I have been getting some extra sleep.

| Life has been full. I am currently taking International Relations I and American History I at APUS. The classes are going pretty well. The International Relations one has been quite interesting. I have been learning a lot about intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations. I have learned a lot about the UN. I am still not a huge fan of that organization.
This week, I did mulching in our yard. I went up to Scott's where I used to work. It was cool to get to see the people there.
Today, my brother (Adam) and I did some yard work for a friend from church. Then we had some great pizza and italian ice. It was very enjoyable.
I leave tomorrow to staff TeenPact MA. Please pray that God will use me, and the rest of the staff team during the week. You can specifically pray that I will act in God's strength and not my own.
